Why Nnamdi Kanu should run for Abia Governor

When Nnamdi Kanu comes out of detention, I suggest he form a political party. Then run for governor of Abia State. He will win with massive majority. No doubt.

As governor of Abia State, he can turn the state around in 8 years. Abia receives federal allocation plus extra 13% for petroleum catchment. Abia also has great internal revenue sources.

The party should also elect ProBiafra men in other states of Igboland. They have members in every home in southeastern Nigeria, so winning shouldn’t be a big issue.

The party members should register to work as INEC pooling officers. All parts of Igboland can have surplus ProBiafra volunteers for the party. On the day of election, members of the party must ensure no rigging at the pool, follow up with vote counting and ProBiafran lawyers should stay awake at collation centers.

Once we have the treasury, security infrastructure, economy of southeast Nigeria in the hands if MNK and his team… we can sit back and watch them transform our home.

This is a realistic goal.

With members of Nnamdi Kanu party at the National Assembly, they can start pushing for referendum. With access to the wealth of our region, they can start REAL lobbying of international support…

With a thriving economy, built on agro export and manufacturing industry in southeast… multinational corporations can finance infrastructure.

Demanding referendum without doing it through the national assembly is like sitting at Eke Awka motor park hoping to catch a flight to San Francisco.
