Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has paid glowing tribute to the late President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, describing him as a symbol of the transition between Ghana’s post-military era and democratic constitutional governance.

 

Speaking at the 13th Prof. John Evans Atta Mills Commemorative Lecture, the Chief of Staff highlighted the former president’s unwavering commitment to peace, patriotism, and high moral standards.

According to him, Prof. Mills’ deep love for national stability was evident in the calm and dignified manner in which he handled political disagreements and divisive rhetoric during his presidency.

He noted that the late President’s legacy continues to inspire a generation of leaders who believe in dialogue, unity, and ethical governance.
