A woman known as Toxii, from Belgium, has revealed her dramatic transformation following an extensive body modification journey that began four years ago.
The 31-year-old has significantly altered her appearance through extreme tattooing and cosmetic work. Her modifications include breast implants and the implantation of “horns” on her forehead.
Toxii recently shared a photograph on Instagram showing her appearance before these changes. The “before” image depicts her with blonde hair, a tan complexion, and a glamorous style characterized by false eyelashes, pink lipstick, and gold hoop earrings.

In stark contrast, Toxii’s current appearance reflects a radical departure from her former look. Her blonde hair has been replaced with waist-length black dreadlocks, her lips are enlarged, and her tan face is now covered in black tattoos and permanent make-up. Her eyes, formerly green, are now solid black, and she has ridges implanted under her forehead.
Toxii’s other modifications include a split and blackened tongue, teeth filed into silver points, reshaped and cut-down ears, and neck ridges. She has also undergone genital modifications and scarification, a process involving cutting, burning, or branding the skin to create textured scars. These practices, while increasingly visible, carry significant health risks, as highlighted in studies on body modifications.
One of her most extreme modifications is the removal of her nose, a procedure she proudly showcased on Instagram, claiming to be the first woman in history to undergo such a transformation. This type of alteration is particularly radical and carries substantial risks.
In an Instagram interview with street artist Devon Rodriguez, Toxii described the nose removal as surprisingly painful, even more so than the implantation of her forehead horns. The long-term effects and potential complications of such extreme procedures are subjects of ongoing concern within the medical and body modification communities.
Body modification, as a practice, has a long and varied history across different cultures. It encompasses a wide range of alterations, from relatively common practices like ear piercing to more extreme ones like those undertaken by Toxii. Motivations for body modification are diverse, including aesthetic reasons, self-expression, cultural or religious practices, and the desire to push boundaries.

However, it’s crucial to note that extreme body modification carries inherent risks. Research indicates potential health complications associated with tattooing and permanent makeup, including:
- Disruption of the skin microbiome
- Inflammatory processes and infections
- Allergic reactions
- Increased oncological risks
- Toxicity of tattoo inks
- Risks associated with insufficient hygiene and inadequate aftercare
These risks underscore the importance of seeking out qualified and reputable practitioners for any body modification procedures and being fully informed about the potential consequences.
