The Political Fact File of the Current Ugly Narratives bedevilling Credible Leadership in Nigeria

Supporting Asue Ighodalo was an historic experience that Edo People would forever cherish and never forget in a hurry because the natural connection between the Man Wey Sabi and Edolites was overwhelming during the campaigns but INEC and the Nigerian Judiciary said NO to what would have brought unimaginable Prosperity to Edo State through their Controversial acts of impunity and political treachery.

Only time will tell how long this continued corruption would last in the Nigerian Sociopolitical Space because Nigerians are generally tired of such Trajectory.

Even the man in whose favour Asue Ighodalo’s Mandate was stolen has been unable to show true Leadership and prove Sound capacity so far as an administrator. Rather, all Edo people see is half baked projects, borrowing of huge amounts of money, Insecurity (as earlier promised) and uncompleted flyover projects all of which are a TOTAL MIRAGE when compared to the reality that Edolites wish to see in their Dear State.

This is the same way they stole our mandate in 2023 and told both the candidate and Nigerians to go court which has greatly dealth our democracy a terrible blow in the face. This has no doubt been described by many as an Ugly sight to behold but at the same time what can the righteous undying faithful Nigerians do? Especially, those of us who still want to make a great change in this country.

There is no gainsaying the fact that the impact of the humongous resources from FAAC percentage to Edo from the Federal government is not yeileding any positive result to the lives of Edolites, yet, some persons have continuously gone town to be shouting, screaming and chanting the word “EDO IS SHINING” even when they know they the end product of most of their infrastructural projects have been erosion, gullies, blocked drainages and bad roads.

Meanwhile, as Edolites and by extension Nigerians strive to live and survive in their Dear country on a Daily basis, let’s be reminded that we all have a responsibility to make our country work for the collective good of all, irrespective of tribe, religion or ethnic affiliations.

Even Ghana and other neighbouring African Nations are now laughing at us due to the terrible leadership and docile followership we have but all hope is not lost if we start doing the right thing for once.

Let’s begin to think, reflect, plan and work together in making the Nigerian society great henceforth because we have no other place to show our creativity and leadership that would be better appreciated than our fatherland.

As we all progress towards 2027, let’s be reminded of the fact that our lives have not remained the same since 2015 when these political merchants of evil and bad Governance took over the helms of affairs and it would only be sensible for the political mistakes of the past to be carefully corrected with the most reasonable, ideal and sound decision in each of our polling units, wards, local governments and states including the Federal Capital Territory of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by ALL ELIGIBLE VOTING NIGERIANS 🗳 WHO BELIEVE THAT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

From the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senatorials and Presidential Candidates, let us all be guided to vote THE BEST OF THEM ALL IRRESPECTIVE OF THE PARTIES THE COME FROM BECAUSE NIGERIANS NO LONGER BELIEVE IN POLITICAL PARTIES BUT IN THE POLITICAL CREDIBILITY AND INTELLECTUAL CAPACITY OF THE INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE WILLING , READY AND ABLE TO SERVE THEM across all levels of Governance.

Truly, We need a NEW DAWN in our politics if we must move forward as a nation and the Youths must wake up and rise up to the occasion from the fact that this nonsense has to end and if it must end, then *WE ALL have a COLLECTIVE ROLE to play for that PROSPEROUS NIGERIA  wish to be a practical reality.

Our Youths should wake up to the fact that the destiny of this Great Nation ultimately lies in their hands because they have to start creating a better future for other generations beginning from today.
