The Faces of illegalities Holding the Party Down

A house built on nothing can not stand so is a decision built on illegality can not stand too. There is no perception or sentiment in law, like it is wildly known that the Supreme Court delivered its judgement on the issue bonding on the national secretary of peoples Democratic party, in its judgement the court granted all prayers of Distinguish Senator Samuel Anyanwu and also set aside all the judgement of the lower court in Enugu State hereby reaffirming him as the National Secretary of the party.

An exclusive report by Authority Newspaper reveals that the expanded meeting of Governors forum and former Governors meticulously studied the Supreme Court’s judgment, concluding that no vacancy exists in the National Secretary position. Therefore, what is driving this relentless conspiracy?

It is obvious that some group of individuals are orchestrating a calculated assault on our great party, but their evil plans will be met with resolute resistance from members who are armed with the rule of law and the constitution of the party.

The urgent resolution purportedly by a collective outcry from peoples Democratic party staff, condemning certain party figures and their actions, subtly undermining the very process Saraki’s committee was painstakingly trying to navigate. The timing of these staff outcry is suspicious and only points to one direction inducement. “It’s a calculated move,” muttered a party insider, his voice barely audible above the hum of the air conditioning, the narrative being spun, however was not one of spontaneous employee unrest, the resolution, many believed, was a carefully orchestrated maneuver, a puppet show with strings pulled by unseen hands.

The specter of Governor Seyi Makinde loomed large, his influence, and alleged financial largesse, the housing allowance by Governor Seyi Makinde another source revealed, “it’s not just a welfare measure. It’s a tool. But a way to ensure and capture the loyalty of staff of National Secretariat. The housing allowance, a seemingly benevolent gesture, had become a lightning rod. Critics alleged that it was a calculated inducement, a means of securing the staff’s allegiance and, by extension, their willingness to participate in actions that served Makinde’s political agenda.

The resolution, they claimed, was a direct consequence of this financial sway, the implication was clear the PDP staff, instead of remaining neutral arbiters, had been drawn into the party’s internecine conflicts, becoming active participants in the very chaos the newly set up reconciliation committee was trying to quell.

Party leaders nationwide should therefore call on staffs and members to desist from actions which could permanently bury the party and give peace a chance for the benefit of all.

Today in Enugu, Governor Peter Mbah, a supposed Saraki Committee member, allied with controversial figures, including former National Vice Chairman Ali Odefa, to deliver a reckless ultimatum to the party; “recognize Sunday Udeh-Okoye as National Secretary or face our defection from the PDP.” Whispers of Mbah’s planned leap to the APC, despite his rejection by their Enugu chapter on April 20, 2025, add a troubling layer to this scheme.

It is surprising that some individuals who lost in their plans to oust Senator Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary in the Supreme Court are still cling to their illicit ambitions, plotting to subvert the party through backdoor maneuvers.

Let it been known today that Distinguish Senator Samuel Anyanwu remains the only legally recognized National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party as stated by the supreme Court judgement and ably confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Anything order than this means that Peoples Democratic Party will not have candidates across board in the next general elections and off circle elections too.

Like i will always say to those highly placed individuals in the party “to be forewarned is to be forearmed” do not say we did not echo it tomorrow let the right thing be done today.
