The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has extended significant support to the people of Anomatewa community, donating a total of GHS10,000 during her ongoing “thank you tour.” The gesture, made on day two of the tour’s second phase, aims to address crucial community needs and foster local development.
The generous donation was strategically distributed to impact various segments of the community. A sum of GHS4,000 was presented to the Chief and his elders. This amount is specifically earmarked for the purchase of a new poly tank, intended to replace an old, spoiled one. This vital intervention will ensure that residents of Anomatewa have access to good, portable drinking water, a fundamental necessity.
Another GHS4,000 was allocated to the youth of Anomatewa. This fund is designated for the acquisition of a mower, which will be used to maintain their town park. The initiative is a direct investment in improving sports facilities within the town and constituency, encouraging physical activity and promoting local talent.
In a move demonstrating her compassion and inclusive approach, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe also provided GHS2,000 directly to a physically challenged young person in the community, offering personal support to aid their well-being.
The total donation of GHS10,000 underscores the MP’s commitment to her constituents and her dedication to fulfilling promises made during her campaign. The “thank you tour” serves as a platform for Hon. Gyan Cudjoe to express gratitude for the mandate given to her and to engage directly with communities, understanding their challenges firsthand and providing timely assistance.

Local residents and community leaders have expressed profound appreciation for the MP’s responsiveness and generosity. The funds are expected to bring immediate and positive changes in Anomatewa, particularly in securing better sanitation, promoting youth development through sports, and supporting vulnerable individuals.
