Elucidation on Circulated Content & Malicious Allegations Against My Person

You may all recall a private video, in circulation which featured my wife and my humble self capturing a personal and joyful moment. The clip went viral without our consent.

This video was recently reposted by one Dr Abubakar Ahmed, and, was accompanied by a misleading and defamatory caption clearly intended to distort the context and damage my character, person and reputation.

This his evil act, represents a serious breach of privacy and indeed be calculated attempt at defamation and cyberbullying. It is, however, part of a troubling trend associated with Dr. Ahmed, who is known for repeatedly using his social media handles, specifically Facebook, to attack the reputations of respected individuals from our dear Bauchi State, through slander and blackmail, the public is my witness.

There is a solid reason to believe that this campaign is not being carried out in isolation but is backed by interests determined to discredit me and undermine my public standing. Nonetheless, truth and justice are not swayed by coordinated misinformation.

As legal proceedings on the course have already commenced, and the matter is now before the appropriate judicial authorities, in light of this, and in deference to the legal process, I will refrain from further public statements on the issue at this time.

I trust in the integrity of our judicial system even as I remain committed to the values I hold dear, including the honor and privacy of my family.
