OYC Anambra Hails Governor Soludo's Homeland Security Law, YES

The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), Anambra State Chapter, has expressed profound commendation for Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s strategic initiatives, specifically the newly enacted Anambra Homeland Security Law 2025 and the ongoing Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES).

 

In a press statement released today by the State Chairman of OYC, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, the youth body lauded Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership in tackling insecurity and empowering the teeming youth population of the state.

“The Anambra Homeland Security Law 2025 is a groundbreaking piece of legislation that promises to fundamentally address the security challenges in our state,” Mazi Okpalaezeukwu stated.

“We have witnessed the tireless efforts of Governor Soludo’s administration in collaborating with communities to enhance security, and this law provides the necessary framework for a sustainable and community-driven approach to safety. The OYC Chairman further highlighted the positive impact of the Governor’s youth empowerment programs. “The various youth entrepreneurship schemes, particularly the ‘One Youth, Two Skills’ initiative, have been transformative. We have seen thousands of Anambra youths equipped with valuable skills and empowered with seed grants to become job creators rather than job seekers. This is a clear demonstration of Governor Soludo’s commitment to building a prosperous future for our young people and by extension, the entire state.”

 

Mazi Okpalaezeukwu urged Anambra youths to continue to key into these laudable programs, emphasizing that sustained efforts in security and economic empowerment are crucial for the overall development and progress of the state. He pledged the full support of the Ohanaeze Youth Council, Anambra State Chapter, to the Soludo administration in its relentless pursuit of a livable and prosperous Anambra.
