The Oba Ìsèse worldwide and Chairman, “Ìsèse Kingdom Of Truth Association Of Nigeria,” Oba Ifarotimi Adifagbola Balogun, has called on Nigerians home and abroad to use the New Year period to pray for the peace and unity of the country.

 

Adifagbola Balogun, while speaking with Journalists at his temple, Idi-Ori, Abeokuta North LGA, said Christians, Muslims and Traditional Worshippers in the state should use the festive occasion to pray for the prosperity, peace and unity of Nigeria.

He, however, reminded them that they should use the opportunity to share passion with their neighbours, urging Nigerians to use the Yuletide season to rekindle acts of love and kindness to one another, especially the vulnerable in the society.

Adifagbola Balogun asked people of the state to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity, in line with the true teachings of God which emphasise brotherly love, tolerance, care for the needy and patience, among other virtues.

“Also, let us seize the festive occasion to pray for the prosperity, peace and unity of Nigeria as this period calls for introspection and continued prayers for our dear nation. I, therefore, call on Nigerians to continue to reflect on the positive tenets that unite us as a nation and strengthen the polity,” Adifagbola Balogun said.

He expressed confidence in the present administration of President Bola Tinubu to turns things around for the better and urged citizens to be patient.

He said that traditional deities have revealed that Nigerians would have a cause to smile at the end of the tunnels, noting that Nigerians need to be patient with the present administration-led by President Bola Tinubu.

 

“One of the qualities of a good citizen is patience. We Nigerians should continue to exercise patience and support our leaders, especially the President, Governors and others, so that they will be able to deliver on their pledges,” he said.
