Abuja, Nigeria – The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., has officially named CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), effective immediately. Hundeyin takes over from DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Hundeyin brings a strong background in both communication and security to the role. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lagos State University and a Master of Science in Legal Criminology & Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the International Public Relations Association (IPRA).

Prior to this appointment, CSP Hundeyin served as the Police Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Police Command, where he was a well-known public figure. His previous roles also include serving at the Zone 2 Command Headquarters in Onikan, Lagos, and as part of the Nigerian contingent to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan.
