Nigerian Defence Academy Announces New Date for 77 Regular Course Screening Test

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) is pleased to inform the general public and all applicants to the 77 Regular Course that the NDA Screening Test, which was previously postponed, will now take place on Saturday 14 June 2025. The screening test shall be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in various centres nationwide.

 

All applicants are therefore advised to visit the NDA portal to select their centre of choice for the screening test from 5 – 9 June 2025. Applicants are to note that selecting more than one centre for the screening test will result into automatic disqualification from the admission process.

Applicants who obtain the minimum cutoff of 180 marks and above based on the official result obtained from JAMB shall receive an email from NDA to register for the screening test. Subsequently, they are to proceed as follows:

Screening Test Registration and Preparation
Upon receiving the email from NDA, eligible applicants must log in to the NDA portal using their JAMB registration number and the unique access code provided in the email. Once logged in, they will be required to:

* Confirm their personal details and ensure all information is accurate.

* Upload a recent passport-sized photograph that meets the specified dimensions and background requirements.

* Print their examination slip, which will contain their unique screening test ID, chosen centre, date, and time. This slip is mandatory for gaining entry to the examination hall.

 

Important Information for Test Day
Applicants are strongly advised to arrive at their selected screening test centre at least one hour before the scheduled time on June 14, 2025. They must bring the following items:

* Their printed examination slip.

* A valid form of identification (e.g., National ID card, international passport, or JAMB printout with a clear photograph).

* HB pencil and a non-programmable calculator. However, candidates are reminded that the test is computer-based, so these might only be needed for rough work.

Prohibited Items and Conduct
To ensure the integrity of the screening test, the following items are strictly prohibited within the examination premises:

* Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets.

* Bags, wallets, or any personal belongings.

* Any form of pre-written notes or unauthorized materials.

Applicants found engaging in any form of malpractice or attempting to impersonate another candidate will be immediately disqualified and handed over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.

 

Post-Screening Test Information
Results of the NDA Screening Test will be released on the NDA portal within two weeks of the examination date. Successful candidates will be invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) interview, which is the final stage of the admission process. Further details regarding the AFSB interview, including dates and requirements, will be communicated directly to shortlisted candidates.
