Mahama Commends Finance Minister, BoG Governor for Economic Stabilization Efforts

WA, GHANA – – President John Dramani Mahama today lauded the collaborative efforts of Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson and Bank of Ghana Governor Mr. Johnson Asiama for the noticeable signs of stabilization within the nation’s economy.

 

Speaking at a grand durbar of chiefs and people at Wa Jubilee Park, President Mahama commended the “symbiotic relationship” between the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank.

The President attributed the recent economic upswing directly to the cohesive teamwork exhibited by the two key economic leaders and their respective teams.

“I wish to commend the Honorable Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, along with their teams, for the exemplary collaboration and coordination they are showcasing in this economic revitalization,” President Mahama stated.

Expressing strong optimism about the economy’s future, President Mahama predicted a continued upward trajectory.
