Stakeholders from Lagos State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.
The endorsement took place at the All Progressives Congress Lagos State 2025 Stakeholders Forum, attended by top political figures, traditional rulers, and representatives of various interest groups across the state on Tuesday.
The Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Jubril Gawat, disclosed this in a statement, accompanied by a video, on his X handle.

According to Gawat, the event was attended by former Lagos State governors Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) and Akinwunmi Ambode; Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, who represented other federal ministers; members of the State Executive Council; the State Party Executive; and the Governance Advisory Council.
Also present were Lagos lawmakers in the National and State Assemblies, local government chairmen, traditional rulers, market leaders, and youth representatives led by Dayo Israel.
A snippet of the video of the event posted by Gawat shows that the motion to endorse Tinubu was moved by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, and seconded by the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa.
โOn behalf of traditional rulers in Lagos State, I, Ayangburen of Ikorodu, HRM Oba Kabiru Shotobi, we in Lagos State endorse President Tinubu to go for a second term,โ Shotobi said.
Seconding, the Speaker said, โOn behalf of my colleague from Lagos State and the people of Lagos State, I so second.โ
