The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, has assured the public that officials from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will be strategically deployed to minimize inconvenience and manage traffic flow along the designated alternative routes throughout the duration of the maintenance works.
Motorists are urged to exercise patience and cooperate with traffic officials as the partial bridge closure is a necessary measure for the essential maintenance of the bridge’s expansion joints, overseen by the Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure (Office of Infrastructure).
