NEW EDUBIASE, ASHANTI REGION – A journalist working with Edubiaseman FM, Nana Adupako, was reportedly assaulted by individuals identified as National Democratic Congress (NDC) sympathizers during the confirmation process for the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Adansi South District in the Ashanti Region.

The incident occurred recently, at the premises of the Adansi South District Assembly in New Edubiase.

Nana Adupako, who was present to cover the confirmation proceedings, is said to have sustained severe pains as a result of the attack.

Hon. Akori Brentuo, Assembly Member for the Apaya electoral Area, confirmed the incident. The case has since been reported to the New Edubiase District Police Command for investigation.
