ISKF INDIA Reaffirms Official Status Amidst Concerns Over Unauthorized Use of Identity

NEW DELHI, India – The Indian Shotokan Karate-Do Federation (ISKF INDIA) has issued a strong statement asserting its sole official status in India, emphasizing its valid Society Registration and Trademark Registration recognized by the Government of India. The declaration comes amidst concerns about the unauthorized use of the organization’s name, logo, and identity by external entities.

The federation explicitly stated that “no individual or new group has the right to use our name, logo, or any part of our identity without permission. Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and legally unacceptable.” This firm stance underscores ISKF INDIA’s commitment to protecting its established reputation and legal standing.

The statement also highlighted a specific instance, referring to a “certificate” shown in an accompanying image as “FAKE,” and asserting that the “ISKF INDIA Name and title is registered by me in 2011. No one can use it. I never issued these certificates.” It also noted that the “Signatory on ISKF INDIA was kick out from ISKF INDIA.” This suggests ongoing issues with unauthorized representation and the need for clarification within the karate community.
