The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has extended heartfelt congratulations to retired Inspector-General of Police, Aliyu Ibrahim Atta, on the occasion of his 88th birthday, which falls today, Monday, May 12th, 2025.
In a statement released by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, IGP Egbetokun, on behalf of the entire Nigeria Police Force, lauded the “remarkable life and career” of the former police boss. He described IGP Atta as a “towering figure” whose “wisdom, discipline, and visionary leadership helped shape the Force during a critical era of national development.”
