Plans to demolish and fully reconstruct the 64-year-old Randle General Hospital in Surulere, transforming it into a four-floor ultramodern medical facility has been announced by the Lagos State Government.

The project initiated and facilitated by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila during his tenure as Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives will now commence after robust technical reviews by the Lagos Ministry of Health and the facilitator, will deliver a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic technologies such as CT scans and MRI machines, modern theatres, accident and emergency units, laboratories, wards, and VIP recovery areas.
