A member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision-making body of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Lagos, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, and his team, have commended the Chairman, Epe Local Government, Ms. Surah Animashaun over unbiased projects execution in the local government council.

Sen. Obanikoro gave the commendation on a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Council, Ms. Animashaun, in an assessment tour of the council as part of the GAC oversight function to the local government council in the last three years, held at Secretariat council, Ita-Marun, Epe, Lagos State.

The apex body has commended the staff and management of the council for ensuring effective execution of its intervention projects across the local government areas, which was spread across the riverines and highlands areas of the council without any political considerations.

The APC apex body in Lagos, which was led by the Sen. Obanikoro includes, former Permanent Secretary in Lagos state, Mr. Lekan Akodu, and Alhaji Ridwan Adisa Aleshinloye, were on assessment tour of the council on the projects execution and reactions of the stakeholders within the council.

Other stakeholders at the assessment tour were; traditional rulers, religious leaders, market women, students and political leaders, youth leaders, youth council, Olorituns, Baales, youths, men and women leaders, Igbo, Hausa communities and non-indigenes were thumbed up for the Chairperson in making the council proud.

The leader of delegation, Sen. Obanikoro said the team, who was in the council to assess some projects executed by Surah Animashaun’s administration, said she deserved commendation for her leadership quality and the proficiency she has brought to bear in running the affairs of the council.

The Chairman, Ms. Animashaun said “It was a pleasure to host my brother, Sen. Obanikoro, his team and other stakeholders in the council, especially for assessment of my projects for the last three years, they have seen what we have done for the good people of our council area and beyond.

“Sen. Obanikoro is on a working visit to council to assess some unbiased projects executed so far for the benefit of the council, I believe that they have seen it and the reports will be fruitfully submitted to the members of the apex in due course, I really thank them and the people of the council for their passionate, steadfastness and perseverance for the last three years and I vow to do more,” Animashaun said
