The 89 Regular Recruits Intake, open for both trades and non-trades roles, is set to close on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The governor’s message was conveyed through a statement by Olumuyiwa Ojelabi from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government and further echoed by Secretary to the State Government, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, during a stakeholder engagement at the palace of the Olofin of Isheri Olofin.
Speaking on behalf of Governor Sanwo-Olu, Salu-Hundeyin emphasized that the face of military service is evolving, with a growing emphasis on technology, education, and professional development. She encouraged eligible youths to view the Nigerian Army not just as a place of service, but also as a platform for building a purposeful and rewarding career.
The engagement session brought together parents, community leaders, religious heads, and artisans to promote awareness about the benefits of military service. Governor Sanwo-Olu stressed that joining the Nigerian Army presents a unique opportunity to serve the nation with pride while accessing specialized training in fields such as medicine, law, engineering, and aeronautics.
