I was dating a married woman who was actually my girlfriend before meeting her husband. After the wedding, we just decided to continue, I’m also married, but I live in Canada. Every time I’m in the country, we do meet up.

Except that last time, after finishing doing our things at the hotel, on her way back, she had a fatal accident and died.

Last Saturday,I went to attend her funeral and believe me,I was really sad seeing her husband alone with children who were still small in tears.

Since that day, I  have been feeling guilty, Itell myself that if she didn’t come to my hotel, maybe she would still be alive.

I want to know how to get rid of this guilt.

Also, how can I give her family some of her personal items that are still in my hotel ?

Or should I apologize to her husband ?
