Ademinokan Accuses Stella Damasus Of Lying About Their Divorce, Warns Of Releasing Evidence

Nollywood filmmaker, Daniel Ademinokan, has called out his ex-wife, actress Stella Damasus, accusing her of spreading false narratives about their divorce.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2014 and parted ways in 2020, have largely kept details of their split out of the public domain. However, a resurfaced interview with media host Teju Babyface saw Damasus claiming she discovered their marriage had ended through YouTube videos.

“I pride myself on being respectable. So many things were said about me on YouTube. That’s how I found out my marriage was over,” Damasus said.

Responding on Instagram, Ademinokan dismissed her account as fabricated, accusing Damasus of repeatedly dragging his name into misleading stories three years after their legal separation.

He cautioned that his long silence should not be mistaken for guilt or weakness, warning that if the falsehoods continued, he would publish evidence to set the record straight.

Ademinokan specifically refuted her claim that she only learned of the divorce online, insisting that Damasus was the one who filed the petition to end their marriage.

“I usually don’t respond to nonsense, but silence shouldn’t be confused for ignorance or guilt. It’s been five years since we separated and three since the divorce. Yet somehow, I’m still living rent-free in your story,” he wrote.

“Let me be clear—silence isn’t guilt, and distance isn’t weakness. Lies, though, are a different matter. Especially when I have receipts.”

He continued, “You went on to say you discovered the divorce on YouTube. That’s a lie. You said I signed and sent papers you weren’t aware of. Another lie. Reality check—who actually filed for the divorce? That’s public record. Don’t worry, I’ll post the receipts.”

As of the time of this report, Stella Damasus had not issued a response to Ademinokan’s claims.
