In a shocking revelation that has stunned residents of Anambra State, an 18-year-old apprentice has allegedly impregnated ten girls within a span of just five months, including his master’s daughter and a shop salesgirl.

According to the Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Hon. Ify Obinabo, the young man was sent to learn a trade under a mentor in Anambra. However, just three months into his apprenticeship, he reportedly impregnated both his master’s daughter and a female sales assistant working in the same shop—an act that immediately got him dismissed.

 

But the story didn’t end there.

 

Speaking during a live social media broadcast, Commissioner Obinabo explained that after the teenager returned to his village, he allegedly went on to impregnate eight more girls within just two months.

 

> “This boy was sent to learn a trade at the age of 18. In just three months, he had impregnated his master’s daughter and the shop’s salesgirl. He was sent packing. Two months later, he had impregnated eight more girls in his village,” she stated.

 

 

 

The boy’s mother, reportedly distressed, visited the Commissioner’s office seeking help. “Anytime I see a girl coming towards our house nowadays, my heart jumps. Please, I need help,” she told officials.

 

Commissioner Obinabo expressed serious concern and questioned whether the situation could have spiritual or psychological underpinnings. According to her, the boy claimed he deceived the girls with promises of love and marriage, saying he would wed them once he became wealthy.

 

To protect their identities, no names or specific locations were revealed. However, the Commissioner has called on the public to offer suggestions and insights on how to manage this alarming and socially sensitive issue.
